EAA Blogs

Mac McClellan is back in the "Left Seat." His new EAA blog, sponsored by Aspen Avionics, appears monthly in EAA Sport Aviation magazine as well as online at www.macsblog.com. McClellan's blog postings focus on the EAA pilot community and encompass flying experiences, flying techniques, weather, technology, and aircraft ownership. Selected blog entries will be featured each week in EAA's e-Hotline newsletter.

EAA Multimedia Journalist Brady Lane and his friend Caleb are scratch-building a plane and keeping a video blog of their journey. Every Tuesday they stream live video as they work and invite you to watch, interact, ask questions, and offer advice. Neither have built anything remotely close to a plane before, but are taking this project one step at a time to show you don't have to be a rocket scientist or wealthy to build your very own flying machine. They're using only basic tools and learning as they go. Check in on the project and see what they're learning this week.

On the Grounds provides you with the latest construction happenings on AirVenture's massive grounds from EAA's facilities manager, Steve Taylor. From bike paths to buildings to bathrooms, periodic updates in this blog give you a glimpse into the new features and (sometimes subtle) changes you can expect in order to make your annual AirVenture experience even better. Get a peek into what's going on at AirVenture those other 51 weeks.
